When I Sleep
I like to fall to sleep with a ticking clock, thunder has a deep bass that pulls me into relaxation. A lonely cricket reminds me that dusk has yet to dissipate, and an owl off in the distance reminds me that I live among trees. The chimes comfort me, from time to time, I know I am home. A soft crackling fire makes me feel warm. But I just like the sound of footsteps, it suggests that I am not sleeping at all, but walking off into a place only my mind can create.
