Tudor Place Dining Room
Sit down to dinner with the Peter family in the elegant atmosphere provided by the Tudor Place Dining Room. Gentle piano playing drifts in from the adjacent room as a sumptuous meal is served.
Located in Georgetown's historic district, Tudor Place is the ancestral home of Martha Washington's granddaughter, Martha Custis Peter. The National Historic Landmark is a treasure of over 100 objects from George and Martha Washington's Mount Vernon. The current dining room is believed to have formerly been Thomas and Martha Peter's bedroom. The furnishings are representative of the lifestyle of aristocratic Americans from the early 19th century.
