The Riverside Cafe
This place is very popular, but still peaceful. Its quite literally in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains. There's a joke among people who give directions to it: when you think you're lost, you're almost there. Families with children, couples, friends, and even a few single diners look out over the river from the upper deck or the lower patios by the river itself. Hikers wander in from the forest, kayakers pull in and drag their kayaks ashore for a quick drink and a snack, and groups on innertubes float lazily past. All the while, the sounds of the river, the wind, and birds hoping for a bite dominate the environment. Sometimes, you can hear the clink of dishes from the open, screen-covered kitchen window. Relax with a cool drink and soak in the peaceful afternoon away from the fast pace of regular life.
