You see lands around you,
Grass, trees, even sky pale,
No chirp, no buzz, just wind,
And the creaking of the trees.
Devoid of vivid colours,
As everything feels dying,
Grass is barely green,
All seems so grim and pale.
And the graves you see,
Oh how many of them,
Their headstones empty,
Not yet fulfilled.
