Summer afternoon on the porch
I have been listening to the How to Meditate course by Jeff Warren in the Calm app. At one point, he describes the mind frame you aim for in meditating as if you're sitting on your porch on a Sunday afternoon, listening to the sounds around you, feeling relaxed, just accepting how things are. This really resonated with me. I'm from Germany and imagined those summer afternoons sitting on the terrace with nothing important to do, listening to blackbirds singing (I hope the happy birds I've found actually are happy blackbirds – I couldn't find a specific blackbirds track) and someone mowing the lawn in the distance. :-) So this is what I was trying to capture.
