This is the third night in a row he's fallen asleep here. This time, at the very least, he had an excuse---the rain made his trek home far too treacherous to attempt at night. Not that you mind. You're started to grow attached to his presence.
He snores like a goddamn chainsaw, but it's become endearing over time. The heat of his body laying next to yours is comforting, and the sound of his heartbeat is quickly lulling you to sleep. This moment...part of you hope it never ends.
