saturday at the library
/ you've gone to the local library during the weekend to wind down with a good book. its raining outside, but when you walk in, the heat from the fireplace immediately clings to your cheeks and seeps into your limbs. near the sitting area, there are tables where one young person writes furiously, no doubt a student finishing up a paper for school. every once in a while they lean in their chair, making it creak. the librarian's cat, who is often allowed to walk around and greet visitors, curls up with you while you read.
