Runes By Moonlight
Whether it be out of stubbornness or some other unspoken reason, Taryn diligently remains by the side of her friend and coworker Jane Doe. The lights have long gone dark, the base silent as all the other mercenaries have gone to bed and yet the woman still flips through thick texts of ancient runes. Moonlight filters over the Badlands and through the window, dancing over her pale features as she works to no end. And whether out of fear or lack of exhaustion, Jane simply lies in bed, refusing to sleep and can't help but periodically look over to watch the woman work at his desk.
