You're sitting next to the window. Clouds have been hanging low in the sky all day and the storm finally started. The heating stopped working, but luckily the fireplace burns hot. Your housemates are playing chess together. One of them thinks they're winning. The other sends you a wink with a smirk. You turn back to your book. It's not your job to tell them it'll probably end in a draw.
