Reading at Home on a Rainy Day
Reading in the early spring evening, curled up by the fire as a soft storm rolls through. The clock ticks down the hallway, but the sound has become a comfort over the years. Small birds taking shelter on the windowsill sometimes chirp to each other, as though gossiping while they settle in the nest on the windowsill.
