Rainy Day in the City Park
"This is one of my favorite spots in the city," your friend tells you underneath the swaying branches of the weeping willow. The rain has been coming down for a while, but there's a nice dry bench under the cloak of the tree, where you plant yourself. It's a small park, right in the heart of downtown, but still bustling despite the weather. Several dedicated runners are doing their laps along the paths, careful to avoid the occasional dog walker. Cars kick up water as they drive past, while crowds of people in ponchos hurry down the sidewalk, eager to get out of the rain. You can hear the chatter from several nearby cafes, where friends and lovers are meeting for lunch. "Well I've got to head to class, see you later!" You say goodbye to your friend and make yourself comfortable.
