Overnight Guest;Fantasy Forest
Weary from your travels, you've had the fortune of being offered a bed. The halls and rooms around you are a gift from nature in smoothed, poetic gnarled arbor; the walls and arches being naturally formed of massive braiding tree branches-- their willowy spaces still murmur with the intermittent quiet activity of nocturnes; the occasional exchanges of low whispers, the brushing of robes accompanying someone's quiet walk down the corridor, the occasional bubbling in vials of the insomniac alchemist. The glowing lights of candles and the mysterious, seemingly sourceless licks of flame tucked within the woody crevices cast a comforting, softly golden yellow glow beneath your door.
From your window, twinkling fireflies and low-hanging stars mingle in the sky as the soft assurances of the nighttime ethereal wood you've ventured into lull you into peace... you find yourself drifting off, the sounds of the forest fading as you fall deeper into sleep...
