Mornings at the Beach House
You are laying in bed, sleepy and warm from the rays of sun streaming through the open window. Your girlfriend has gotten up before you and is making breakfast for the two of you, humming softly with the gentle surf outside your Japanese beach house. You smell the fresh salt water and the lavender detergent from the flapping curtains in the open window, complementing the savory scent of breakfast. You hear the morning birds that have awoken you from your restful slumber and close your eyes to the sound of the news on TV. Both of you are trying to learn some simple Japanese by putting on the local news, but most of the time the sound is simply a pleasant chatter to your ears, masquerading all the stress from the outside world, melting you deeper into your fluffy duvet.
