Meditation to Cosmos Edge
It is quiet, and peacefefully dark. The glowing moon casts an ethereal blue-white glow upon your path as you tred to your secluded zen garden, a simple bench encased in the protective barrier of the sturdy yet delicately blossoming and aromatic branches of cherry and silk trees. The shapely strong arms of the magnolia, whose awakening buds are exuding a sweet honeyed air that mingles with the sage and lavender growing along the smooth stones laid along the ground, encloses you in your oasis while allowing windows to the hanging starry night above.
As you slip into your meditation, you feel your parchment slide from your lap as you reach a deeper state; any intentions to write or sketch to center yourself are quickly dissipated and no longer needed. The only occasional reminder, as you slip deeper into a meditative state, of its presence-- along with the physical garden you'd entered-- are the occasional shuffles of parchment leaves in the breeze, the tinkling of the windchimes you'd hung in low boughs, the ever-distant murmurs of the night wood around your physical body... Yet these things are becoming farther away. Your heartbeat, breath, thrums like a distant gong, its steady, slow beat striking peace into you, deeper and deeper, with each note becknoning further into abyss.
A bell tolls in your awareness from time to time, either redirecting your attention to the peace within, or drawing you deeper into it; whichever you need more in that moment, it delivers to you.
You become aware that you are now perched in the galaxy, and have entered the cosmos, the ultimate and celestial, enigmatic and ineffable galactic womb of all. The unfathomable display before you does not frighten you, but rather brings you to a deep sense of calm and Being. You maintain your Deepened state; any and all unwavering thoughts are but monmentary distractions, not disabilities to your vibrating Being.
