Lazy Rainy Day at Beach House
Large windows fascinate with natures majesty as rafts of clouds pile up, shifting and tumbling over the surging ocean like an ever changing kaleidoscope in a swirl of darkening rainbow-tinged grays. Down along the sandy beach waves crash and thunder rumbles as the rain washes away the cares of yesterday.
Warm and safe inside, the cats are curled up nearby on big the comfy couch, while the dogs doze on the soft rug in front of the screened fireplace. From the kitchen drifts mouth-watering aromas and good-natured teasing as the virtues of eating desert first are earnestly debated, though dinner won't be ready for a while yet. Tomorrow debris from the wind-tossed trees may need to be raked out in the backyard, but for now the luxury of dozing by the fire is yours...
