Jazz Cats
The area is warm and softly lit, a product of the candles. Tables litter the patio and rough looking patrons surround them. Some trade cards and dice, while others trade gossip. Every once in a while, there is an angry hiss, a near fight. Smooth notes are coaxed out of instruments, the musicians too lost in the song to stop for whatever drama is brewing in the audience.
Birds flirt with danger, looking down from trees above, chirping along until fear gets the best of them and they leave.
Everyone is a cat.
