I dream of forest and sea
I sit cozy in my chair with my ever-loving furball curled up on my lap, fighting for room with my book. I sip a cup of tea, and spread my attention between my book, the fireplace, and the gentle rain outside. But as I sit, even in this comfortable haven, I miss the soothing sounds of the ocean as its waves break upon the beach, and I long so deeply to be there that I can hear it as clear as day. The sounds from fire, cat, and two forms of water overlap and blur together, blending into a white noise until I choose to focus on any particular aspect. The perfect soothing melody after a long week.
This one is a little different from my usual creations, as it isn't for any project or adventure, just a sense of longing in this age of indoor isolation. As always, votes and constructive/civil comments are appreciated, and I hope you enjoy what you hear. Stay safe, everybody!
