Holidays at Hogwarts
The holidays are here, and as a result the halls are empty, save for the odd student with no place to call home besides Hogwarts. You don't mind being one of the lost souls, taking comfort in the peace afforded by the quiet and enjoying the subtler sounds of the school.
Tonight, you rest in the common room with a blanket and a half-eaten chocolate frog, enjoying a warm cuppa as you catch up on some much-needed leisure reading. You take your time turning the pages of a beloved text while a feline companion rests on your lap. The crackle of the fire contrasts with the hollow whistling wind outside, and you realize there in the quiet that you've never felt more at peace.
