Driving Home From Grandma's
You're in the backseat of your mom's 1999 Toyota Camry, today was your 8th birthday and your parents are talking about something you cant make out and listening to your moms favorite radio station, NPR, because, as your dad says, "all that music is trash." You're half asleep in the backseat next your younger brother, 5 turning 6 in 1 month and 2 days, who's already out like a light. This is probably the last year your dad will carry you inside if you fall asleep, you're getting a little too big and he's getting a little too old for it to work well anymore. Dinner with your grandparents, aunt, and cousins was great and you're full and content and already asleep.
