as you close the wide wooden door,
and hear it quietly latch behind you.
Breathing in the familiar smells,
you make your way,
to your favorite corner of the library.
A familiar face peeks up,
from under the table,
already purring.
You reach out,
to greet the fluffy feline,
with a gentle hug.
You settle into the sturdy chair,
and a feeling of comfort warms you,
almost as much as the nearby fireplace.
It's time to begin.
You feel ready,
and start to prepare your things.
