Bookshop Backroom
The bookshop's backroom is where the overflow books are stored, and also where you take your breaks. Claire De Lune is playing on the record player. The door is open a crack, and a strip of gold lays on the floor as the light flows in. With it comes the hum of people talking or drinking tea. Outside, the traffic whispers by like waves against the shore. It's been a slow day, and you can read by yourself for as long as you want.
