a summer evening
Relax by the lake as the sun goes down, picking out patterns on your harp to the accompaniment of birdsong and the serene calmness of a grazing flock. A little way away, a small stream trickles down to meet the lake, whose waves lap against the shore and glitter under the sinking sun. And occasionally, when the wind blows the right way, you hear clear flute-like notes. Perhaps Pan himself, with his pipes, or a lone shepherd boy, or just a fellow musician enjoying the evening sun.
