A lovely night for dreams
After a long day, you and your partner are finally home together. At last you can just sit and enjoy each other's company. Sitting in front of the fireplace, cuddled up in the love seat after a nice meal is always a great time. After a while of talking about each other's day your partner yawns and you finally understand how tired they really are.
"Hey, how long has it been since you last slept?" You ask, resting your head against their chest listening to their heart beat mix with their breathing.
"A few days maybe I lost count." They reply, running their fingers through your smooth hair. Both of their arms are rapped loosely around you.
You sigh deeply and decide to put on an audio book for that poor, loveable, insomniac.
Soon their breathing slows and their fingers stop weaving through your hair. You laugh and pull a plush blanket over the two if you and follow your partner to dreamland.
